Equilor’s Corporate Finance (CF) practice specializes in finance raising, M&A (Mergers and Acquisitions) advisory, capital market transactions and other value added CF services. Our CF division has been a reliable partner of many of the most successful companies in Central and Eastern Europe (CEE). We count many important international corporate enterprises, venture funds and local governments among our clients.

Equilor has participated in significant transactions in various sectors, including energy, property development, insurance and telecommunication, etc. Equilor has performed operations ranging from private and venture capital transactions to syndicated financing and capital market transactions.

The financial and strategic advice provided to clients by our professionals has contributed to many highly successful transactions. One of our client’s high value share transactions – the largest initial public offering of the last decade on the Budapest Stock Exchange - was awarded the “Equity listing of the year” prize in 2010. Over the past several years Equilor has been increasingly active in the corporate bond market. In 2010-2011 Equilor has organised public corporate bond issues of over 40M EUR and has organised many private placements as well.

In recent years our successful transactions include:

• nearly 480 M EUR of stock transactions;
• 110 M EUR of direct investment in stocks;
• issuing private stocks of approximately 155 M EUR;
• issuing public stocks of approximately 40 M EUR; and
• syndicated bank financing of approximately 330 M EUR.
